Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TradeAxis platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the platform.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Buyer Obligations
Buyers agree to: provide accurate sourcing requirements; pay for goods and services in accordance with agreed terms; inspect goods upon receipt and report issues within the specified timeframe; not engage in fraudulent activity or misrepresent their purchasing intentions; and comply with all applicable import regulations and customs requirements.
4. Supplier Obligations
Suppliers agree to: provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability; fulfil orders in accordance with agreed specifications and timelines; maintain all claimed certifications and quality standards; respond to buyer inquiries and RFQs in a timely manner; and comply with all applicable export regulations and documentation requirements.
5. Payments and Escrow
All payments processed through TradeAxis are subject to our payment terms. Escrow payments are held until the buyer confirms satisfactory receipt of goods. Disputes are handled through our resolution process. TradeAxis charges service fees as outlined in the applicable pricing plan.
6. Verification and Trust
While TradeAxis conducts multi-layer verification on suppliers, we do not guarantee the performance, solvency, or conduct of any platform user. Verification badges indicate that a supplier has passed our checks as of the verification date. Users should conduct their own due diligence.
7. Intellectual Property
The TradeAxis platform, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is the property of TradeAxis Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant TradeAxis a license to use it in connection with platform operations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeAxis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any transactions conducted through it.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Accra, Ghana, under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
